2025 Year in Review: The Shift Towards Digital Maturity

As 2025 comes to a close, a new press release from Supplyframe highlights business wins and spotlights organizations who chose us as their key strategic partner for digital maturity and greater resilience in the coming years.

Over the past year, we have onboarded approximately 40 global customers across the range of our SaaS solutions. Join us as we explore the lessons we’ve learned in 2025, and what it means for the global electronics manufacturing industry in the coming year.

A Strategic Shift as the Dominoes Began to Fall

Over the course of 2025, we noted a major shift in the global manufacturing industry. In particular, the aerospace & defense sector was at the forefront of this change.

By leveraging Supplyframe’s Design-to-Source Intelligence to identify high-risk or high-cost parts, teams can proactively conduct redesigns to ensure the long-term sourcing and profitability of the final design.

Our A&D customers have also begun injecting these insights into pre-existing part libraries, allowing their teams to make informed decisions with context for the entirety of their multi-decade product lifecycle, thereby increasing margins across all of their ongoing programs.

Beyond A&D, the global manufacturing industry at large is beginning to see the need for real-time intelligence, digital maturity, and digital threads that seamlessly connect people and processes across the product lifecycle.

“In 2025, the noise stopped, and the signal got loud. If you’re looking to design smarter, build resiliency into your design, supply chain, and sourcing apps. If you’re looking to build resilience and protect your margins, then we are exactly what you need. Resiliency for me is not a cost center, it’s a competitive advantage.”

– Vice President of Global Sales, Michel Van Cotthem.

In addition, AI has become a major player in the realm of procurement. At Supplyframe, we are looking for ways to transform AI from hype to a habit. Our experience at industry events in 2025 also points to a future where humans and AI agents work together to streamline and enhance the design-to-source process.

These strategic wins and overarching trends are the first domino tiles that will create a broader impact. As the dominoes begin to fall and the industry embraces new forms of intelligence and AI in equal measure, we are helping leaders take advantage of these capabilities today, which will in turn set them up for success going forward.

Looking Ahead to 2026

In the coming year, Supplyframe will continue to partner with organizations in the A&D, automotive, and EMS spaces, where more and more manufacturers are becoming aware of the need for digital maturity by leveraging real-time intelligence and insights to make better decisions.
