PASADENA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Supplyframe today announced that Majenta Strongheart, head of design and partnerships at the Supplyframe DesignLab, has been named a Supply & Demand Chain Executive (SDCE) 2022 Women in Supply Chain winner. The award recognizes female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network.

“I’m so proud of everyone who participated, both men and women”

“Receiving this award is an honor,” said Strongheart. “I am thrilled to have made a positive impact within the supply chain space, and I look forward to continuing this important work.”

This recognition highlights the Supplyframe team’s devotion to community and service and Supplyframe’s commitment to helping establish a smarter, more diverse and equitable future within the global electronics value chain. It also marks the second time that a Supplyframe employee has won a Supply & Demand Chain Executive Women in Supply Chain award. Sarah Rich, vice president of operations and customer success, earned the same recognition in 2020.

“Majenta is a true original, and Supplyframe couldn’t be prouder of all her achievements,” said Matt Gunn, vice president of global marketing at Supplyframe. “Her driving philosophy is to never be satisfied with what she knows. Majenta takes advantage of every opportunity to master something new. And her passion for working with designed objects has grown from the understanding that shaping the objects that people use regularly affects the way humans connect with technology, their environments, themselves and, ultimately, with each other.”

Among the next items on Strongheart’s to-do list are helping to expand global university programs to reach more up-and-coming professionals to help them to kickstart their careers.

The 2022 Women in Supply Chain award program received more than 280 submissions, almost 100 of which were from men, said Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. “I’m so proud of everyone who participated, both men and women,” she said. “I’m proud to call these women mentors, role models and industry friends. I’m proud to interview them, support them and help promote their journey. And I hope to see all of this year’s and past years’ winners at our upcoming Women in Supply Chain Forum.”

Supplyframe continues its work to transform the global electronics industry by developing intelligent solutions that drive greater resilience and profitability and by serving the industry with a diverse and talented workforce. The company recently announced its investment in Women in Electronics, a community of progressive women leaders at all stages of their careers dedicated to expanding the opportunities for women in the fast-paced electronics industry.
